a young man stumbles upon a marsh of flowers while lost in the woods,
their glittering appearance drawing him in. the trap quickly becomes known
when he finds himself tangled in a mess of vines, their sparkling leaves constricting to keep
him held. a dizziness takes hold, and the world lurches into darkness.
the villagers had been wondering where friday is for days, searching for him to no avail.
they are stunned when they spot their friend stumbling out of the treeline, now shimmering with
a deep blue cosmic appearance. friday remembers nothing and no one, having seemingly lost any reccolection of his life
and the people he knew. moved by their care for friday, and this new seemingly ethereal form he has taken, they
re-teach him how to live, what he liked, and how to act.
as though coinciding with the return of their friend, a plague begins to spread around the village.
starting out from those closest to him, until it reaches everyone left in the village. lethargy turned to coughing,
the coughing turned to blood, and the blood turned from a sticky red to an unknown, dark,
shimmering substance.
"friday" now enjoys it's time alone in the village, fishing. it has no need for it, the many corpses sprouting up flowers and vines
leeching all it needs, but it finds the appeal in playing pretending nonetheless.
